There are few things more fulfilling for kids than winning and losing in youth sports. An authentic athletic and fitness experience builds leadership skills, improves confidence, and inspires healthy living.
That’s the goal of Kids Elite Sports – to empower children and teenagers to live healthy and active lifestyles through high-quality developmental sports, fitness and enrichment programs.
Here’s how they do it.
The Kids Elite Core Values
Kids Elite focuses on five core values that are emphasized throughout all aspects of the program.
E – Effort
Coaches and educators agree that it’s best to praise efforts over achievements, and this is what’s done at Kids Elite. When kids learn effort is more important than the final score, they develop a growth mindset and learn to apply a positive attitude to their challenges.
L – Leadership
Confidence is the foundation of leadership, and sports encourage confidence. Kids Elite gives children the opportunity to take risks in a controlled and safe environment. Kids learn a variety of sports, allowing them to step up to a new challenge, build confidence in themselves, and set an example for others as a leader. (Meet our leadership team here!)
I – Integrity
Being a good sport is important both on and off the field. The integrity and character built during the game translates to integrity and character throughout all the other aspects of their lives. Kids Elite kids learn to do the right thing, even when no one is watching.
T – Teamwork
Teamwork isn’t just a skill that’s important on the field – it’s key to success in school, friendships, and life. Collaboration, helping others, and doing what’s best for the team instead of just the individual are skills practiced throughout the day at Kids Elite.
E – Excellence
When all those four values are put together, they create excellence – excellence in sports, excellence in relationships, and more. This is the ultimate goal of the Kids Elite program.
