Kelly was born in the bathroom at George Washington University Hospital as her mother was being checked in during triage. She grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland and then commuted to Georgetown Visitation for high school. She attended Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia where she majored in Food Marketing. Kelly is a content marketing consultant and currently lives in Kensington with her husband, 10-month old baby boy and six year old beagle-Plott hound-chow mix.
