What is pelvic floor physical therapy?
Pelvic floor physical therapy is just like any other physical therapy but focused on strengthening and improving coordination in muscles in your pelvic floor. Our clinicians are licensed physical therapists who received additional training, specialization, and certification in treating pelvic floor conditions. Get treated virtually via telehealth from the comfort and privacy of your own home with Comet! Our clinicians will work with you to develop an individualized home exercise program!
How much does it cost?
Initial evaluations (45 minutes) are $100 and subsequent follow-up visits (30 minutes) are $75. We do not take insurance but we are happy to put together a superbill for you upon request (billing@trycomet.com).
Does it work?
Yes, clinical evidence for pelvic floor physical therapy (PFPT) is very well documented. In fact, a study from Stanford Urogynecology recommended PFPT as a “first-line, low-risk, minimally invasive therapy” for preventing and treating pelvic floor conditions and concluded that “PFPT should be commonly recommended during pregnancy and after birth to prevent and treat urinary incontinence, POP and postpartum sexual dysfunction.”
Do I need a referral?
No, most states, including Virginia, are direct access states and you are able to see a physical therapist without a referral from your doctor for up to 30 days. Do I need to drive anywhere?
No, our services are remote video-based consultations you take from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

The spiritual healing sessions for children are very similar to the ones with adults; however, for children under 14 year-old, the session includes at least the mother as I journey through her on behalf of her child. Exceptions can apply but are always discussed with the child and the parents. Whenever possible, the two parents are directly involved in the healing process.
The sessions usually include some energy work; the modalities vary a lot with each case and are always discussed and agreed upon with the child and the parents.
The experience always proves to be very re-empowering both for the child and the parents. Mothers, in particular, often come to the session experiencing a mix of discouragement, tiredness and guilt. They leave feeling whole again, re-assured in their role and re-empowered to support their child and be the Mom they want to be and truly are.
Whenever possible, a short pre-interview is organized with the child and the parents, as well as a short follow-up two weeks after the initial session.
