Kate Shinberg
Kate is a second generation Washington, D.C native. She has a BA in Political Science and a BS in Nursing from Emory University. She has worked as a pediatric nurse for 10+ years in both Atlanta and the DC area, and currently works in school/community health.
Kate is a solo parent by choice and lives with her toddler and cat in Van Ness, DC. When she's not doing laundry or washing sippy cups, she enjoys going to the library, eating sushi and petting all the animals.
