Self-Care Spa Day Spots in the DMV

2

A few weeks ago, I planned a spa day with my best friend, and it was absolute heaven with some much-needed self-care. The only difficult part was choosing which DC area spa to spend our limited time away from our kids and families. Although it was not an easy decision, because all of them sounded like absolute heaven, we finally chose Spa World. It was absolutely everything we knew we needed.

  1. Hello,
I’d love to introduce you to my new business… The Zone Reflexology in Takoma Park. Reflexology is an ancient healing modality that can help to relieve stress and anxiety through pressure applied to reflex points on the feet and hands. I also give wonderfully relaxing facial treatments. I sell gift certificates online and in my treatment room. Give the gift of relaxation to yourself or a loved one!

  2. Another option for busy moms – bring the self care to your home!
My massage therapist comes right to my home for my massage, so it is extra relaxing to not have to go anywhere or lose time getting there and back. And he is excellent. He’s a father of four himself, so he knows how moms need this therapy. During the pandemic, we did our appointments in the back yard in nice weather. Great for you and your partner to do together, too, if you both have time during the day, either when the kids are at school, or napping, OR, one of you watches the kids while the other gets massaged and then swap!
Text Chris Elie to book your stress relieving hour or two hours ! He so appreciates the support especially after these hard two years on small businesses.
