With peak produce season under way, I am so excited to write about my favorite farmers markets in the DMV area. In addition to fruits and vegetables, you will find artisan breads, butchers, sauces, preserves, and other baked goods. What I love about these markets is that they can easily be your one stop shop for produce and meat needs for the week. Besides farmers markets, we also love visiting nearby farms where you can pick your own fruits and vegetables.
Please support these local businesses! (Check with each market for updates before visiting).
