• Be sure to check in with your child to see what summer camps they are most interested in doing and what skills they may want to learn.
• Reach out to school friends or summer camp friends about coordinating weeks together. Having a buddy is always fun, however, these camps are a great way to make new friends too!
• Sign up for summer camps before they sell out and join their mailing list so you know right when they open.
• Budget for summer camps by perhaps doing an expensive camp and then a couple of more budget friendly camps.

The Bar-T Ranch is a spacious 12-acre farm located in Montgomery County. When you trust kids, they trust themselves. Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s has put kids in charge of their own learning experience. As they try, fail, and learn on their own, they learn to trust their own judgment, and tackle the challenges of an ever changing world with creativity and confidence.

Campers choose from a variety of activities in real-time including, sewing, stop-motion animation, music, coding, sports & rec, makers crafts, baking, & more. They’ll decide what they want to do, and for how long.

This summer families can buy as many days as they’d like, and use them at any time. No weekly reservations required–just show up! Or, if you need more care, purchase a Summer Pass, which covers the whole season. If for any reason your plans change, they’ll automatically refund any unused Passes in full at summer’s end.

Lunch, snacks, and all hours (8am–6pm) included.

Camp Under the Stars is an overnight summer camp located in the Prince William Forest National Park in Dumfries, Virginia.

St. John’s Preschool offers an inquiry based six week summer program serving children 2.5 – 7. The children and teachers embark on an exploration of broad topics incorporating the Reggio philosophy with the whimsy and joy of summer.

At The Theatre Lab, our summer camp programs are divided into groups based on the grade that the student is entering in the Fall. We place all children with their peers based on grade regardless of theatre experience.

Camp Arena Stage is a multi-arts full-day summer camp, for young people, ages 8-15. A place to explore, discover, and create.

Campers love choosing their own daily schedule from a long list of creative classes. Favorite past activities have included acting, hip-hop dance, drawing and painting, rock band, and many more.

SPY CAMP

Somewhere deep inside the International Spy Museum, an elite group of recruits is lurking in the shadows preparing to take on top secret missions. Now it’s your turn to join their ranks. This isn’t your ordinary summer camp — this is Spy Camp!

Aspiring KidSpy® recruits will hone their tradecraft, learn from real spies, and hit the streets of DC to run training missions. Camp Shohola for Boys is in its 82nd season and the third generation owned and operated by one family.

We have the most complete program in camping with all athletics, a superb waterfront, a brilliant arts and music department, an outstanding ropes course, a quality equestrian program, and a unique communications and technology department. Any camper can also take part in our many out of camp trips which include hiking, biking, river canoeing, whitewater or surf kayaking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing.

The values and traditions that boys learn while they are having the time of their lives, unplugged make this a life changing experience. We are big enough to offer this complete program, and yet we are small enough to care for the individual needs of each camper and family. Shohola is the classic camp.

iGen ignites learning in children and enhances their 21st century skills through project-based learning and digital learning in science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

Campers (or as we like to call them, iGeners!) will engage in robotics, makerspace, coding, team building activities – the STEAM way,, legos, art activities and science experiments . Outside of our awesome pathways, iGeners will have a daily “brain break” where they’ll have recess at the local park.

Once a week, iGeners will get out of the building for a field trip. We’ll rotate between adventurous, educational and just plain ole fun trips!

Ligonier Camp and Conference Center is a Christian outdoor adventure summer camp and retreat center located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of western Pennsylvania.

Sessions culminate in a performance at Shakespeare Theatre Company.
