First Baptist Church of Alexandria

First Baptist Church of Alexandria is offering half day VBS or full day VBS and music camp. Open to completed Kindergarten through 6th grade. Vacation Bible School will be held July 13-17, 2026. Registration is open now.

Alfred Street Baptist Church

301 South Alfred Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314

Alfred Street’s Megachurch membership allows them to run outstanding programming for youth and children. Their VBS is known across the D.C. metro area! It’s free for the entire family – toddlers to adults are welcome! Alfred Street is located in Old Town Alexandria,  though its membership spans the DMV. Plus, it’s intergenerational and family-friendly. VBS details are TBD.

DC Church

One church and two campuses in Virginia. This year’s VBS is June 22-26 at Deep Creek and July 27-31 at WPC. It runs from 9 AM to noon. Check the link for updated details. Learn more about their fun and spirit-filled offerings.

Immanuel Bible Church

Immanuel’s VBS takes place June 22-26. There is an AM program for the littles and a PM program for rising 4th-6th graders. This year’s theme is Stellar Search: Seeking the Source for the littles and Gravity: Get Grounded for 4th-6th grade!

Washington, DC Vacation Bible Schools

People’s Congregational Church

People’s Congregational Church offers Vacation Bible School the first full week of August. The Vacation Bible School is August 3-7. People’s Congregational Church is diverse and located in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C.

National Presbyterian Church

4101 Nebraska Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016

This year’s theme: Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God. Their VBS is held June 22-26. For children ages four to 5th grade. The littles can expect to explore this theme along with age-appropriate fun activities. 

National United Methodist Church

3401 Nebraska Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20016

The National United Methodist Church is offering Vacation Bible School June 22 – 26 from 9:00 AM – Noon. Its theme: “Everywhere Fun Fair.” Ages 4 through 5th grade can participate as campers and rising 6th grade and up can participate as Jr. Counselors. 

19th Street Baptist Church

Nineteenth Street Baptist offers two programs by age – two to seven and eight to fourteen for their VBS. Known for their vibrant children and youth ministry, your children are sure to be enriched. VBS dates are TBD.

Maryland Vacation Bible Schools

Bethesda United Methodist Church

Columbia Presbyterian Church

This Vacation Bible School is a Christ-centered week of exploration. Children are welcome June 29- July 2 to engage in community and divine connection. 

Glen Mar Church

Located in Ellicott City, MD, Glen Mar Church is hosting Vacation Bible School July 13-17, 2026 from 9am to 12pm. This year’s theme: Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God.
