Topgolf Birthday Parties + Summer Academy

This post is sponsored by Topgolf. We hope you enjoy learning about Topgolf's summer camp and birthday party options.

Topgolf offers guests a fun golfing experience complete with food and games for family fun. If you haven’t been, be sure to put it on your summer bucket list! We recently had the pleasure of enjoying Topgolf as a family and we all had a blast. We walked in, checked in, were taken to our booth with comfy seats, and were assisted with logging into the computer system. Once we were set up, the kids immediately started golfing one by one with adorable kid-sized golf clubs. There are pros on hand if you or your kids want a few tips on form before getting started! Safety is a top concern at Topgolf and they kindly shared their rules with the kids to keep things safe and fun. Stay behind the red line!

Topgolf games are scored by how closely you hit to pins at various distances, with the farthest being worth more points. Our oldest loved checking the computer screen after each hit to see how many points were scored.  Once kids get the hang of the scoring system, they get really invested in the outcome! All in all, it was a time where we ate good food, were covered by shade and cooled by fans, encouraged one another with each swing, and the littlest ones even did a little coloring.

Topgolf Birthday Parties

Topgolf offers loads of events and they even offer kids’ birthday parties. Their birthday parties offer kids a fun, safe space to learn or hone their golf skills or learn golf for the first time, and food and beverages are included. This is such a unique party idea that offers a change of pace in the birthday party cycle. Plus, its a great value! And there is zero clean-up! Topgolf birthday parties include two hours of golf time with complimentary kids clubs, plus all guests get a Junior Lifetime Membership. Be sure to take advantage of their complimentary digital evites and dedicated team to set up and manage the party. You can add on extras like a Topgolf Goodie Bag, personalized instruction from a Topgolf Coach, add their famous injectable donut holes, reserve additional golf bays if needed, and get a Pin Flag Memento for guests to sign. Birthday Parties at Topgolf are something kids (and all the guests) will remember!

Topgolf Summer Academy

Courtney Whittington
Courtney was born and raised in Louisiana where she met her husband (married in 2005). They have moved several times, but finally feel very settled in NW DC after moving back in 2016. She has four energetic kids: Cormac (2010), Evangeline (2013), Solomon (2016), and Antoinette (2019). She thinks motherhood is absolutely wonderful, but is constantly trying to figure out how to manage it all. She spends her days talking Star Wars, playing with legos, doing crafts, having tea parties, and chasing her toddler. Motherhood is wonderful and wild and in 2017 she banded together with other mothers to start DC Area Moms to inspire, learn, and grow together. She loves morning coffee, chocolate, chatting with people since she's an extrovert, a clean house (which is rare these days). She dislikes when her kids don't listen the first time, she abhors littering, and doesn't enjoy shopping.
