Angela, originally from Ohio, now calls southern Maryland home. After many wonderful years in the classroom, she entered the world of motherhood. This marked the beginning of a challenging postpartum journey. With the help of DC Area Moms, Villa, and other local mom groups, Angela found a way to climb out of the darkness and thrive as a mama. Angela now finds joy in helping new parents as a doula. You can find Angela visiting local parks with her family, gardening, cooking, reading, or enjoying a warm cup of tea in her free time.
