2. World War II Memorial 17th Street, NW, Washington, DC
The World War II Memorial honors the 16 million Americans who served and supported the armed forces during the war. Surrounded by fountains and 56 large granite pillars, the memorial symbolizes unity and national sacrifice.
3. Korean War Veterans Memorial 900 Ohio Drive, SW, Washington, DC
