And rightly so! The pandemic has hit us all in different ways and City Bonfires was created by two local dads in Maryland whose jobs were affected. The City Bonfires Experience
City Bonfires is a mini, portable handmade bonfire made right here in Maryland. It is in a metal tin with four thick wicks and non-toxic, soy wax. Of course, this is for adult use only and always supervise your children closely while using the bonfire. My three older children and I made s’mores with City Bonfires and had the best time right in our own backyard.
First, I made a tray of goodies with marshmallows, chocolate pieces, graham crackers, and skewers. Then, we sat in our backyard and I placed City Bonfires on a rock and lit the four wicks with a match and my three older children and I made delicious s’mores. Each one held a skewer for roasting their marshmallow and it was a safe, stress-free, fun time with our kids. When it was time to go inside, I quickly and carefully put the lid on the bonfire and the fire went out. I am always looking for ways to bond with our kids and this was perfect.
