Who doesn’t love Trader Joes? I share my 17 favorite Trader Joe’s foods below! Since our first encounter, it was love at first sight. However, I became a real fan during the pandemic. Pre-pandemic, my husband used to do the shopping in our home. Now, I finally have a little more time to enjoy cooking at home.
What I love about Trader Joe’s are: low prices, unique food items, eco-friendly policies (compostable veggie and fruit bags), and amazing customer service. They always give stickers to my son when we are at the cash register!
Here’s my list of go-to (mostly) healthy favorite Trader Joe’s foods:
- Acai Puree
- Avocados – because they are from Mexico and always ripe perfectly.
- Avocado Oil Spray
- Cauliflower Pizza Crust
- Dried Baby Pineapples
- Flowers
- Freeze dried Mango and Strawberries
- Garlic Spread Dip
- Over-Baked Cheese Bites
- Nuts
- Plantain Crisps & Sweet Plantains
- Porcini Mushroom & Truffle Ravioli or any of their raviolis!
- Seasoned Kale Chips
- Soy Chorizo
- Spatchcocked Lemon Rosemary Chicken
- Vegan Kale Cashew & Basil Pesto
- Wine galore!!
Beyond the wonderful food, there are a few other reasons to love Trader Joe’s! While lines seem long, they are speedy at checkout and it never seems like a bore. It’s a fun place to shop! And it can be a fun place to bring your child too. I love it when stores have carts for young children too! It cam make a trip to the grocery store feel like a true adventure.

They also have very kid friendly foods! My daughter’s favorites are the organic no salt peanut butter, the organic applesauce, the dried broccoli and okra, the mini peanut butter crackers, the frozen mango and edamame, the organic mini wheat tortillas and of course the mini ice cream cones!
