Father’s Day is here! I have three kids 3 years old and under right now including my one month old. Our lives are a little crazy and a lot busy, but I didn’t want to have Father’s Day pass by without something thoughtful for my husband. So I’m sharing the three quick keepsake gifts I made with items we had around the house.
1. Father’s Day Golf balls keepsake
My husband loves to golf and I can’t recall the last time he was able to play a round or make it to the range. I gathered up some golf balls we had around the house and let my 3 and 1 year old color on them with sharpies. Bonus: this activity actually entertained my 3 year old for almost 30 minutes. The keepsake golf balls include a promise of a round of golf (eventually… one day… hopefully soon).
2. “Best Dad Ever” Father’s Day photo
I usually put together some kind of photo collage or magnet for Father’s Day. I saw this cute idea where each child has a sign in the phrase “Best Dad Ever.” This is my husband’s first Father’s Day with three kids so I thought that it would be cute. I used construction paper and some paint to make the signs.
3. “Thanks for helping me grow” handprint keepsake
I’m a sucker for a good handprint keepsake. I made a quick template on Canva with words “Thank you dad for helping us grow! Happy Father’s Day!” I added some watercolor style grass and a stem for each of our kids. I’m attaching a printable version that includes one stem for only children/if you wanted to make one for each child.
