Easy 4th of July Treats & Crafts!

Happy 4th of July! This can be a hard holiday to celebrate with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Late nights, loud fireworks, and missed nap times are a few things that might upend this holiday. Here we’ve collected a few easy 4th of July treats & crafts to make any celebration kid-friendly.

Easy 4th of July Treats

1. Strawberry, Blueberry, and Yogurt-Covered Pretzel American Flag

Our first easy 4th of July treat is a snack board American flag! It really was extremely quick to put together and tasty. Baby and toddler approved.

2. Pancake American Flag

Hang on to those strawberries and blueberries and use them for a yummy 4th of July breakfast board! If you’re like me and have a little helper in the kitchen, make sure to have some extra strawberries for payment.

3. Cornflake Clusters

Take your favorite treats and add red, white, and blue m&ms – and BOOM! It’s now an easy 4th of July treat. I had extra cornflakes to use from a previous recipe, so I made some cornflake clusters and added m&ms. My toddler doesn’t like sticky so these were a flop for him, but I sure other kids would like this sweet and salty snack.

4. 4th of July Snack Mix

Make a large group happy with this snack mix! Snack mixes are fun because you can fit them to what your crew likes. So take this an idea and adjust as needed- but don’t forget the red, white, and blue m&ms!

Easy 4th of July Crafts

1.Toilet Paper Roll Fireworks

This was the best craft for my 2.5 year old to do solo! The big rolls of toilet were easy for him to pick up and put down on the paper and it turned out so cute.

2. Plastic Fork Fireworks

This would probably be perfect for ages 3-5! It would provide more creative liberty for slightly older kids who want to make their own firework magic, but still easy and low prep.

3. 4th of July Keepsake Crafts

We made two slightly different keepsake crafts, but I like both of them. The handprints was my toddler’s craft and the footprints was my baby’s craft.

Hope your family is able to enjoy some easy 4th of July treats or crafts this year! If you’re looking for more ways to celebrate check out this article with local events! May your toddlers eat more than bread at the BBQ and may the fireworks not wake your babies!!
