The holiday season has arrived! As a small business owner and mom, I am always searching for local fellow makers and creators.  We share seven local, mom-owned businesses to shop from to cross off everyone on your list. These makers and moms are bosses in business that create with passion and perseverance. From handcrafted children’s gifts to seasonal adult treats–local businesses are at the top of our wish list!

1. Mother Procraftinator

Mother Procraftinator, a Baltimore-based home décor shop, is adding sass to the holiday season. Owner Jess launched her business after giving birth to her son in 2018. Many of her products – from the Charm City journal to the state silhouette wood ornament – highlight Maryland pride. Her bathroom signs, wood cover journals, and other handmade items are perfect to give this holiday season!
