The Best Subscription Boxes for Kids By Age: From Baby to Teen

0

I love subscription boxes for kids. As a working mom, while I love putting together my own sensory bins and crafts to enjoy with my two kids, it is really nice to have one perfectly delivered to my doorstep. They save me time and energy and allow me to put that energy into just enjoying the moment (or a cup of coffee!). There are tons of subscription boxes to sort through and it can be overwhelming when looking for gifts. So we’ve compiled the best activity-based subscription boxes by age, from baby to teen. I’ve listed my favorites at the end.

Please note, we listed prices, but some offer a discount on the first subscription, some have a discount if you do a bulk subscription, and some are delivered monthly or every three months. Each one is different. Happy subscription hunting!

Soraya’s Picks:

  1. Little Passports: I love to travel and am thrilled there is a subscription box dedicated to teaching my kids about cultures worldwide. What I love about this box is we can take as much or as little as we want and run with it. We’ve now made mango lassis in the kitchen and started to learn Spanish together.
  2. Young, Wild + Friedman Playdough Kits: These Playdough kits are genuinely amazing and loved in our household. Most are themed by holiday (Hannukah, Christmas, Valentine’s Day), but the charms and pieces she finds to inspire play in each kit are incredible. I am always so impressed with the quality and care put into each box!
  3. KiwiCo crates: We’ve subscribed to KiwiCo crates since my kids were toddlers, and we still love them. Some are a hit each month; some are admittedly a miss. But I love that as my children grow, they have more and more options to meet their interests. I often pause my subscription when we aren’t using them as much as I’d like, which is a great option they offer!
