Reading, seeing, and hearing about what is happening in Israel is completely heartbreaking. Kidnappings, killings, hostages, and innocent lives being taken is horrific. It’s hard to sit on the sidelines knowing how much pain people are going through. A friend said, “The Jewish community is so small that we area all one degree separated from someone who was killed or taken hostage.” Our hearts break with them. We have compiled a list of ways to show love to our Jewish friends and Jewish-owned eateries during this difficult time.
Ways to Support our Jewish Friends
We want to show our support knowing how much pain people are going through. Several of our friends know people on the first line of defense. Reach out to Jewish friends to let them know you are thinking about them. Support a Jewish-owned businesses and play at Gymboree in DC, which is owned by a local Rabbi.
